FAQ’S for INVESTIGATIONS:

Q: What is the purpose of a Private Investigator?

A: There are several purposes of a Private Investigator. Just to name a few:

  Domestic Investigations – Covers love ones or spouses that is cheating.
  Corporate Investigations – Covers employees stealing from their employer.
  Criminal Investigations – Covers crimes against an individual or damages to property.

Q: Beside the common cheating spouse and workmen’s compensation work,
  What other services that a Private Investigator conducts that people may      
  not be aware of?

A:
    •We locate missing family members or that special person in your life.
    •We search for those that are owners or heirs to unclaimed property or estates.
    •We locate and recover lost or stolen property.
    •We gather and prepare documents, data, information, records or evidence         
     used before civil and criminal cases in court procedures.    
    •We conduct interviews on individual’s to assure you that their statement(s) to you     
     or others has credibility.
    •We search for the causes, the origin of, or the responsible individual(s) that set       
     your house on fire, the slander of your name, the item(s) stolen from your property,
     that car accident you were involved in, the damage(s) to your property and not
     least the injuries you suffered through it all.
    •We conduct background checks on those individuals who wants to either hire a   
     person to work for them, or to have a person move into their dwelling, or for those
     that want to just get a little more security and assurance on that special person they
     plan to date.

Q: Say  an individual has threatened me and they plan to do bodily harm to me
  or to others I know, is this something a P.I. can handle or is this only for the
  local Police to handle?

A: What you’re asking is something we call in our field Executive Protection, otherwise
  known as “Bodyguards”. Yes, we can be hired to prevent any bodily harm that may
  come to you or to another individual.  

Q: If I suspect my nanny, children, employees, etc. of doing something wrong or
  illegal in my place of residence or business and I can’t see them or catch
  them in the act is there something a P.I. can assist me with?

A: Yes, an investigator can place hidden video cameras (called "NANNY CAMS") at the
   location of interest and video record their actions.
(Audio recording devices are illegal)



FAQ’s for CONCEALED WEAPON / FIREARM:

Q: What is the State of Florida concealed weapon / firearm license cover?

A: The Florida law defines concealed weapons or firearms you must carry the weapon    
   or firearm in a manner that it is out of sight of another person(s) view. The Florida   
   law does NOT allow and strictly prohibit any person from carrying a firearm openly.
   Such weapons/firearms is as follows:
   •Handguns
   •Electronic weapons or devices (stun guns)
   •Knives
   •Tear gas/pepper spray
   •Billy clubs


Q: What are the eligibility standards for me to obtain my Conceal Weapon  
  License?

A: The requirements are as follows:
  •Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  •Must be 21 years of age and older.
  •Must have the ability to handle a firearm. (Attending my
Firearms Safety Course)


Q: What are the ineligibility standards for me to obtain my Conceal weapon
   License?

A: There are several disqualifying standards or conditions that will result in your
  application being ineligible or denied, including, but not limited to:
  •The inability to handle a firearm. (Failing a Firearms Safety Course)
  •A conviction for a violent crime in the last three years, either misdemeanor or felony.
  •Domestic violence injunction.
  •Two (2) or more DUI’s within the past three (3) years.
  •Renouncement of your U.S. Citizenship
  •And many more other conditions that can disqualify your application.


Q: How long is my Concealed Weapons License good for and are there other    
  states that honor the license?

A: Your license is good for seven (7) years.
  Currently there are 33 states (South Carolina) now honoring Florida Concealed   
  Weapon/Firearm License with limited conditions in each one of those States.

Q: How would I go about applying for my Concealed Weapon/Firearms License?

A: "VERY EASY",  just attend my Firearms Safety Course.


    A WORD OF CAUTION TO LICENSEES
    The Division of Licensing is authorized by Florida statue to issue concealed               
    weapon/firearm licenses to qualified citizens for the purpose of lawful defense.

    
The Division is NOT authorized to enforce criminal laws relating to weapons and     
    
firearms. Florida’s State Attorney’s are responsible for prosecuting violation of   
    
Chapter 790, Florida Statutes.
